Kent Police are looking for the driver who was responsible for a hit-and-run incident that seriously injured a bicyclist in the area of Southeast 256th Street and 135th Avenue Southeast<\/a> last Friday morning.<\/p>\n Officers responding to a 911 caller who told police that he found the victim, 47-year-old Andrew DinAlpha XR, on the ground. Police arrived and found the man conscious.<\/p>\n The man, riding his tri-bike around 5:30 a.m., was heading westbound on SE 256th Street at 135th Avenue SE when he was hit from behind in the bike lane on the north side of 256th between a fire hydrant and telephone pole near the Metro bus stop.<\/p>\n DinAlpha XR will need months of rehabilitation before he can walk again, according to the family.<\/p>\n Police said they have no suspects but are looking for possibly a gray or silver vehicle with front end or passenger side damage.<\/p>\n Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Kent Police<\/a> at 253-852-2121.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
