Kaylee Bishop scored 22 points to lead No. 3 Lewis and Clark of Spokane to a 64-55 victory over No. 2 Kentridge in the 4A Hardwood Classic girls basketball semifinals at the Tacoma Dome on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The Tigers (23-3) play No. 8 Eastlake of Sammamish (21-6) for the championship at 7 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n

Kentridge (25-3) faces sixth-seeded Bellarmine Prep (22-6) for third place at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Chargers beat the Lions 75-64 for the West Central District title on Feb. 16.<\/p>\n

Jordyn Jenkins scored 23 points, JaQuaya Miller had 17 points and eight rebounds for Kentridge.<\/p>\n

Lewis and Clark shot 61 percent from the field to build a 32-17 halftime lead.<\/p>\n

Kentridge rallied to pull within 41-35 after three quarters of play, but Lewis and Clark held on down the stretch.<\/p>\n

The Chargers shot 38 percent from the field for the game.<\/p>\n

Quarterfinals<\/strong><\/p>\n

After two painful losses to Woodinville in one year, the Chargers responded in the rubber-game rematch to beat the top-seeded Falcons 55-44 in the quarterfinals on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Jenkins scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Miller produced 12 points and 14 rebounds and Dayla Ballena finished with 11 points for Kentridge.<\/p>\n

Mia Hughes led Woodinville with 28 points.<\/p>\n

Kentridge atoned for its only in-state loss this season – a 72-71 overtime outcome to Woodinville in the Eric Anderson Classic\/King Showcase at the accesso ShoWare Center on Jan. 21<\/p>\n

Last March, the Falcons surprised the Chargers, the defending state champions, 55-54, on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the state quarterfinals in the Dome.<\/p>\n

But the rematch Thursday didn’t go down to the wire.<\/p>\n
