Jordyn Jenkins scored 30 points and JaQuaya Miller had 19 as fourth-ranked Kentridge pulled away from Todd Beamer 78-51 for the North Puget Sound League girls basketball championship at Enumclaw High School on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Chargers (19-2) went on a 15-0 run to close out the third quarter to spur the win and earn the league’s top seed to this week’s West Central\/Southwest District playoffs. Kentridge will host either Auburn Mountainview or Puyallup in a district opener at 7 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Kiernan Denckla had 10 points and Dayla Ballena finished with seven for Kentridge.<\/p>\n

Aaliyah Alexander’s 19 points led the Titans (16-5).<\/p>\n

Elsewhere<\/strong><\/p>\n

Federal Way jumped out to a big lead and cruised past Kentridge 89-52 for the NPSL boys title at Enumclaw High School on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Kentridge (15-6), the NPSL Cascade Division champion, hosts either Todd Beamer or South Kitsap in a district playoff opener at 7 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n

Jaden McDaniels, a top national recruit, scored 31 points to lead the Eagles. Tari Eason had 29.<\/p>\n
