Q:<\/strong> What is your favorite subject in school?<\/p>\n A:<\/strong> Calculus BC.<\/p>\n Q:<\/strong> What other activities do you participate in?<\/p>\n A:<\/strong> I enjoy swimming, spending time with my friends, playing with my cats and sleeping.<\/p>\n Q:<\/strong> Person who has helped you succeed the most?<\/p>\n A:<\/strong> My head coaches, Kevin O’Shea and Michael Dobner, have helped my swim strokes, and my assistant coach, Flannery Allen, has helped fuel my passion for this sport.<\/p>\n Q:<\/strong> Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?<\/p>\n A:<\/strong> Repeating one of my favorite songs, getting it into my head to relax me for my race, then from behind the blocks, I shake out my nerves and, right as I step up, I clap a couple of times and take a deep breath.<\/p>\n Q:<\/strong> Song you currently can’t get enough of?<\/p>\n A:<\/strong> “Happiness” by Rex Orange County.<\/p>\n From the Sideline<\/strong><\/p>\n “I am nominating Nolan because of his excellent leadership and sportsmanship. His positive sportsmanship influenced the team very well, and they give him respect. He got five qualified league times and four district times.
