The Kent Downtown Partnership<\/a> has scheduled its Annual Spring Clean-Up Day for June 5.<\/p>\n

Starting 8 a.m. at Kherson Park at Second and Gowe, this year\u2019s event will be similar to those in years past – with teams of volunteers working to spruce up the city\u2019s downtown core. All volunteers will be treated to a lunch at noon.<\/p>\n

The day of volunteer work has been popular with a variety of local folks, whether they come out to help as teams of family members, civic groups or business employees.<\/p>\n
