{"id":37669,"date":"2018-11-13T16:40:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-14T00:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/two-men-in-shootout-last-week-near-kent-expected-to-survive\/"},"modified":"2018-11-13T16:40:00","modified_gmt":"2018-11-14T00:40:00","slug":"two-men-in-shootout-last-week-near-kent-expected-to-survive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/two-men-in-shootout-last-week-near-kent-expected-to-survive\/","title":{"rendered":"Two men in shootout last week near Kent expected to survive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two men are expected to survive after exchanging gunfire Nov. 7 <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/1DgB2qYQv382\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">in the 26100 block of 78th Avenue South<\/a> in unincorporated Kent.<\/p>\n<p>It was an altercation between a 29-year-old Pacific man and a 30-year-old Covington man, according to King County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office spokesman Ryan Abbott.<\/p>\n<p>The shootout occurred at about 9 a.m. on Nov. 7. They were each struck by gunfire multiple times. Paramedics transported both men in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.<\/p>\n<p>The Sheriff&rsquo;s Office has not released any information about what led up to the shooting.
