Sunday, Oct. 28 is the time for kids to trick or treat through the Museum of Fright, when each gallery of aviation or space becomes a spooky Halloween place.

The Aviation Learning Center will be transformed into Frankenstein’s Lab, the always mysterious Blackbird spyplane will loom over an obstacle course, while the Personal Courage Wing takes on a new meaning. Family carnival-style games and activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, as costumed children age 17 and under are free, or $5 without a costume. Admission for adult chaperones is $10.

The museum is at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158, off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field halfway between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport.
