{"id":37082,"date":"2018-10-09T13:11:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-09T20:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-25-dies-in-two-vehicle-crash-on-reith-road\/"},"modified":"2018-10-09T16:24:48","modified_gmt":"2018-10-09T23:24:48","slug":"kent-man-25-dies-in-two-vehicle-crash-on-reith-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-25-dies-in-two-vehicle-crash-on-reith-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent man, 25, dies in two-vehicle crash on Reith Road | Update: man identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 25-year-old Kent man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/HJBpE9ZW2t32\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">in the 25300 block of Reith Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hassen Nur died from multiple blunt force injury, according to the King County Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Nur was driving a sedan that reportedly made a left turn in front of an eastbound pickup driven by a 44-year-old Port Orchard man, according to a Kent Police news release. The pickup struck the the passenger side of the sedan which caused the car to be impacted into a guardrail on the east side of the road.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers and firefighters performed live-saving efforts on Nur, but the man died at the scene. Paramedics transported the other driver to a local hospital but his condition is unknown, according to police. Both men were alone in their vehicles. <\/p>\n<p>Crash investigators said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
