{"id":36893,"date":"2018-09-27T11:06:00","date_gmt":"2018-09-27T18:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-house-fire-displaces-four-2\/"},"modified":"2018-09-27T11:09:00","modified_gmt":"2018-09-27T18:09:00","slug":"kent-house-fire-displaces-four-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-house-fire-displaces-four-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent house fire displaces four"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four people were displaced after an early Thursday morning fire badly damaged their home <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/YfxLmVEWfd12\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">in the 26500 block of 115th Place <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/YfxLmVEWfd12\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">Southeast<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was first reported to 911 at 4:06 a.m. by several people, including the occupants. Everyone was able to get out of the home safely, though a dog died in the fire, according to a Puget Sound Fire news release.<\/p>\n<p>When firefighters arrived, they found flames coming from the entire front of the two-story house and both cars in the driveway burning. The fire was upgraded to a second alarm to bring in additional firefighters.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the amount of damage to the house, much of the fire was fought from the outside once firefighters were informed that the family had escaped.<\/p>\n<p>No other homes were damaged by the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Red Cross is assisting the family.
