For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n The Tacoma Stars have announced the return of veteran Chase Hanson for the 2018-19 Major Arena Soccer League season.<\/p>\n As per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not released.<\/p>\n Hanson was among team leaders with a .429 shooting percentage last season. Along with four assists, Hanson picked up six goals on just 14 shots.<\/p>\n The Federal Way native and Seattle University alum has appeared in 60 MASL games in his career with 25 total points (12G-13A). 21 of Hanson’s appearances came last season.<\/p>\n “Chase is a local player and he has been as steady as can be for us,” said Stars coach Darren Sawatzky. “He is a great pro, and he gets better with each season. I look forward to his leadership and continued competitive fervor in the coming months.”<\/p>\n The Stars are back in action Dec. 1, with an expanded schedule that includes 12 regular-season matches at the accesso ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n
