Minuteman Press – a full-service printing and marketing design company – has opened in Kent.

Dawn and Jeff Brown bought and opened the newly converted franchise, at 1819 Central Ave. S., Suite 80, earlier this year.

The couple, who have been married for more than 25 years, are excited to own and operate a business together.

“We are a local small business whose vision is to build relationships, not just gain customers,” Dawn said. “We look forward to helping your business grow. We have lived in the area for about 20 years.”

Minuteman Press serves a wide range of clients in the business community.

“Some of the different types of customers and industries we support range from the startup business such as a new flower shop to the big corporate players and government contracts,” Jeff said. “We are also well-known for our vehicle decals and wide format outdoor signage.”

The business owners have future plans.

“Our next big goals include upgrading our current color press, building stronger business relationships and continuing to sponsor local events,” Dawn said.

Prior to franchising with Minuteman Press, Jeff worked in software development for more than 20 years. He and Dawn have five children. They enjoy volunteering, camping and spending time with family. While raising their children, Dawn enjoyed philanthropy work for several nonprofit organizations and returned to college to finish her degree in communications.
