The city of Kent is looking for Kent residents to fill vacancies on the Bicycle Advisory Board and the Parks Commission.<\/p>\n

The Kent Bicycle Advisory Board meets the last Monday of each month to advise the mayor and City Council on projects, policies and programs that improve and\/or affect bicycling conditions. Members of the board serve one- or two-year terms. Applications are available online and are due by 5 p.m., Aug. 24.<\/p>\n

The Kent Parks Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of each month to provide input on the strategic planning efforts that influence Kent’s parks and recreation system and provide guidance on a variety of related topics. Applications are available online and are due by 5 p.m., Aug. 24.<\/p>\n
