{"id":36031,"date":"2018-07-30T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2018-07-30T21:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/catch-shuttle-bus-to-officer-morenos-service\/"},"modified":"2018-07-30T14:30:00","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T21:30:00","slug":"catch-shuttle-bus-to-officer-morenos-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/catch-shuttle-bus-to-officer-morenos-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Catch shuttle bus to Officer Moreno&#8217;s service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People planning to attend the memorial service Tuesday, July 31, for Kent Police Officer Diego Moreno can park at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/q8kTRKkGQL62\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">Kent Elementary School, 24700 64th Ave. S.<\/a>, and catch a free shuttle bus.<\/p>\n<p>The bus will operate between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. between the school and the Park &#038; Ride lot on Lincoln Street. Parking is going to be limited and traffic slowed downtown by the service that starts at 1 p.m. at the accesso ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.<\/p>\n<p>The shuttle will help manage some of the traffic and parking, according to city of Kent officials.<\/p>\n<p>Crews will close West James Street between Lincoln Avenue and Fourth Avenue North from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., except for access to the arena.<\/p>\n<p>Those attending the service should plan to arrive by noon. There will be limited parking available at the Lincoln Park &#038; Ride, the Sounder garage at Kent Station and City Hall. There will also be limited street parking available throughout downtown.
