The fourth annual Kent Middle School Science Fair runs from 9 a.m.\u00a0to 2:45 p.m. Saturday at Kent-Meridian High School.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
There are 165 projects entered and 300 students participating in the event. The fair is open to all middle school students participating as individuals or teams.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
There will be two rounds of judging in the morning as well as an engineering design competition and a physics magic show. Judges from the science community will review the entries.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
A special engineering competition will take place after the science fair competition. Participants will complete a “straw structure” task on site within a given time frame.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
