A man reportedly grabbed his former girlfriend by her dress, threw her into rocks and pushed her into a fence during a dispute in the back yard of a Kent home.<\/p>\n
Officers responded at about 11:35 p.m. on June 23 to a home in the 19300 block of 113th Avenue Southeast after a call about a trespasser in the back yard, according to the police report.<\/p>\n
A woman at the home told police that her former boyfriend showed up and they talked about their relationship in the back yard of the home where she lived with a couple of friends. When the woman started to go inside, the former boyfriend allegedly tackled her. The boyfriend then left the home, returned a bit later and then left again. Officers noted that the woman had a bruised leg.<\/p>\n
The woman told police she had dated the man for about 18 months and they lived together until May when they broke up.<\/p>\n
Police went to the boyfriend’s house in the 14400 block of Southeast 200th Street. He told officers he had gone to the house to talk to his former girlfriend about their relationship. He admitted he grabbed her around the waist, but said she pushed him into a fence.<\/p>\n
Officers arrested the man for investigation of fourth-degree assault. The man initially told police he would give them a statement about the incident. But when an officer started to record the conversation, the man said he wanted a lawyer, so the officer ended the conversation.<\/p>\n
Man kicks, punches wife<\/strong><\/p>\n Police arrested a man for investigation of fourth-degree assault after he allegedly punched and kicked his wife after she had fallen to the ground during a dispute at about 9:21 p.m. on June 22 in the 23300 block of 115th Place Southeast.<\/p>\n Witnesses called 911 after seeing a physical dispute between a man and a woman outside a home, according to the police report.<\/p>\n Officers responded and found the woman on the front steps of the home. She had blood on her hands and face and appeared to be very intoxicated as officers could smell the odor of alcohol and noticed the woman had slurred speech and swayed while standing up.<\/p>\n The wife told police she and her husband went to the Firestarter Bar and Grill for drinks, took a Uber home and then got into an argument after exiting the vehicle.<\/p>\n Witnesses told police that the woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of a Chevy Silverado parked in the driveway and that the man pulled her out of the vehicle during a dispute. The woman started to walk toward the home, but fell down. The husband reportedly went over and kicked and punched her. Officers noted the woman had marks and cuts on her face. Police also found blood inside the truck.<\/p>\n The husband also appeared to be intoxicated, He didn’t give a statement to officers.<\/p>\n Man busts vehicle window<\/strong><\/p>\n Officers arrested a man for investigation of third-degree malicious mischief after he reportedly broke the driver’s side window of a vehicle parked at the Red Robin parking lot, 25207 104th Ave. SE.<\/p>\n A witness called to report a man had broken a vehicle window at about 2:21 a.m. on June 24, fled when the vehicle alarm went off and then briefly returned to the vehicle, according to the police report.<\/p>\n Police found a red Honda Odyssey in the parking lot with a broken driver’s side window and a rock on the driver’s seat. Officers contacted the vehicle’s owner inside the restaurant. The owner said nothing was missing but he wanted to press charges for the broken window.<\/p>\n Police found the suspect a bit later near the am\/pm store at 104th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 256th Street.
