A developer is constructing 500 apartments and retail space &#8211; known as Marquee on Meeker &#8211; at the site of the former course, south of Meeker Street. The 18-hole course remains open across the street.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic control will be in place. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p>Intermittent lane closures for construction are expected to continue until 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The city sold the course for $10.5 million to Auburn-based FNW Inc.\/Landmark Development Group.
