Matthew Lee Vatne died unexpectedly on May 17, 2017 in Renton, Washington at age 57. Matt was born on February 15, 1961 in Renton. Matt graduated from Kent Ridge High School in 1979. After graduation Matt started working in his Dad’s machine shop, where he took it over in 1994. Matt greatest passion was salmon fishing with his friend Randy. He also enjoyed cars and more recently crabbing.<\/p>\n
Matt is survived by his parents Ronald and Marion Vatne, sister; Corinne Vatne Pudwill, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and 2 great nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael Vatne, sister-in-law Val, and his grandparents.<\/p>\n
A memorial service is scheduled on June 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Panther Lake Community Church 10630 SE 240th St., Kent. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Matt’s life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
