Charlie Williams, “the Noiseguy,” tells the tale of “Toy Wars: a Star Wars Toy Story” at the Kent Library last Friday, part of his May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day program. Williams provided a hilarious spin on the story, replete with sound effects for children.<\/p>\n
Williams is a vocal sound impressionist, illustrator and author who shows how to use onomatopoeia – the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named – to enhance reading, writing and storytelling. He has been making noise in schools and libraries since he was a kid.<\/p>\n
