Single-game tickets for Game 3 of the Seattle Thunderbirds’ first-round playoff series at the accesso ShoWare Center are on sale.

The defending WHL champions play Game 1 of the best-of-seven series on Friday, March 23, on the road against an opponent to be determined. Game 2 is Saturday, March 24.

The T-Birds’ first home playoff game is at 7:05 p.m. March 27, a Directors Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday game that will feature two-for-one tickets and beers and $2 popcorn, $2 hot dogs and $2 soda.

The game will also feature a 2-for-1 group ticket special. Fans who purchase a minimum of 10 regular-priced tickets will receive 20 tickets and these additional benefits:

• Two free tickets for putting together a group of family and friends.

• $10 worth of free Chuck a Pucks.

• Scoreboard recognition.

Playoff tickets can be purchased on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office, which is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday game days at noon.

The T-Birds at this time do not know their first-round opponent. A full first-round schedule, including the date of Game 4, will be released once an opponent is determined.

The T-Birds have a 33-26-8-2 record, which puts them in the second wild-card playoff spot in the Western Conference, five points behind the Tri-City Americans (36-24-8-1), the first wild-card team.
