{"id":33556,"date":"2018-03-12T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-12T16:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-mobile-home-fire-displaces-family-of-five\/"},"modified":"2018-03-12T09:30:00","modified_gmt":"2018-03-12T16:30:00","slug":"kent-mobile-home-fire-displaces-family-of-five","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-mobile-home-fire-displaces-family-of-five\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent mobile home fire displaces family of five"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Reporter staff<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A mobile home fire displaced a family of five shortly before 5 a.m. Monday, the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority reported.<\/p>\n<p>The residents were able to get out safely, but the double-wide mobile home in the 24400 block of 64 Avenue South was a total loss.<\/p>\n<p>Two dogs from the home remain unaccounted for.<\/p>\n<p>When firefighters arrived, it was already fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n<p>Radiant heat damaged at least one another home and several vehicles, Puget Sound RFA said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to fighting the fire, the first on-scene crews had to deal with a neighbor&rsquo;s dog, which had bit a person near the fire. Apparently, the dog was agitated by the activity. That person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
