The cast at Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Company present the Disney classic, “Beauty And The Beast,” for six performances in late March and early April.<\/p>\n
This “tale as old as time” has become a modern classic, brimming with award-winning music, charming costumes, colorful sets and enchanting special effects that bring those beloved Disney characters to life.<\/p>\n
Disney’s “Beauty And The Beast” opens Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Building, on the main campus of Green River College, 12401 SE 320th St., Auburn, and runs through Saturday, April 7.<\/p>\n
Show times are 7 p.m. March 30, 31, April 6, 7, with 2 o’clock matinees on March 31 and April 7.<\/p>\n
As with every great musical, the moral of the story can be summed up in a single word. The word for this production? Transformation. The cast delivers a delightful journey featuring misfits who learn to appreciate one another from the inside out. With both wit and humor, hearts are changed and love ultimately wins in the end.<\/p>\n
Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Company is in its 45th year of serving up solid family entertainment. They also offer a summer camp for the youngest community members interested in a live theatre experience.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door.<\/p>\n
