State Sen. Karen Keiser, D-Des Moines and state Reps. Tina Orwall, D-Des Moines and Mia Gregerson, D-SeaTac, will host a 33rd District telephone town hall meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the town hall is for state lawmakers to hear directly from their constituents on the issues they care about in the Legislature – from schools to climate change, safer roads to fairer taxes. The 33rd District includes SeaTac, Des Moines, Normandy Park and part of Kent, Burien and Renton.<\/p>\n
Residents can participate in three ways:<\/p>\n
• Over the phone – Calls will go out to thousands of homes throughout the 33rd legislative district. When constituents pick up, they’ll be able to listen live and ask their lawmakers a question. Those who don’t get a call can join the town hall dialing 877-229-8493 and entering ID Code 116286<\/p>\n
