On Saturday, Luding made a solid glove save on Patrick Bajkov, the Silvertips’ third shooter, to seal the win.

Ludge made a pad save on Garrett Pilon, Everett’s first shooter in the shootout, but Matt Fonteyne, the second Silvertip shooter, beat him with a shot over the glove.

For the T-Birds, Noah Philp and Zack Andrusiak each scored on Everett goalie Carter Hart in the shootout.

Luding made 21 saves in the third period to keep the game tied 2-2 and force overtime. In the second period, he had 12 saves as the T-Birds killed off four Everett power plays. Luding’s record is now 9-12-1-0.

Seattle tied the game 1-1 1:42 into the second period on a power-play goal from Blake Bargar. Jarret Tyszka took a shot from center ice with traffic in front of Hart. The puck rebounded off Hart to Bargar in the low slot, and he whipped it past the goalie. Philp had the second assist.

The T-Birds took a 2-1 lead less than three minutes after their first goal. Nolan Volcan worked the puck from behind the Everett net up to Tyszka at the left point. Tyszka took as with Andrusiak screening Hart. Tyszka’s shot beat the goalie on the glove side for his seventh goal of the season. Matthew Wedman had the second assist on the goal.

The Silvertips tied the game 2-2 at 16:20 of the second on a goal from Riley Sutter.
