The Kent School District’s replacement and operations levy is now passing and the technology and capital levy is just 13 votes behind. Both levies were failing following the first two days of elections results.<\/p>\n
Proposition No. 1 has 50.48 percent yes votes (12,705) to 49.52 percent no votes (12,464), according to King County Election results released Thursday. Proposition No. 2, a tech and capital levy, continues to go down with 50.03 percent no votes (11,736) to 49.97 percent yes votes (11,723), but that’s a difference of just 13 votes.<\/p>\n
After Tuesday night’s initial count, Proposition No. 1 had 51.14 percent no votes (10,086) and 48.86 percent yes votes (9,637). Proposition No. 2 had 51.61 percent no votes (9,445) and 48.39 percent yes votes (8,855). Both counts moved much closer after Wednesday’s results were released.<\/p>\n
