For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n Country music artists Rascal Flatts takes the Washington State Fair grandstand stage on Sunday, Sept. 23, part of the Columbia Bank Concert Series lineup.<\/p>\n The state fair runs Aug. 31 to Sept. 23 at the Puyallup fairgrounds.<\/p>\n Rascal Flatts recently released its 10th studio album, Big Machine Records, as well as back-to-back chart topping singles, “Yours If You Want It” and “I Like The Sound Of That.”<\/p>\n Known as one of the hottest-selling touring acts in any genre with more than 10 million tickets sold and as the best-selling country vocal group of the past decade, Rascal Flatts has sold more than 23.4 million albums, 34.3 million digital downloads worldwide and earned more than 40 trophies from the ACA, ACM, AMA, CMA, People’s Choice and more, also making them the most awarded country group of the past decade.<\/p>\n Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24. Visit thefair.com<\/a> and join the free E-Club for access to seats and ticket offers. E-Club members get the opportunity to buy tickets to all shows in the concert series lineup before the general public.<\/p>\n Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27. Prices are $90, $80 and $60 and include fair gate admission. Tickets will be available online<\/a> or by phone at 888-559-FAIR (3247) daily, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Washington State Fair’s Box Office, 9th Ave SW and Meridian Street on most Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Online and phone purchases are subject to standard processing fees. Tickets purchased on site will be charged a $3 per ticket service fee.<\/p>\n The Rascal Flatts concert is the first to be announced in the state fair’s 2018 lineup. Tickets will also go on sale for other artists in the coming months.<\/p>\n The Washington State Fair is one of the biggest fairs in the world, and the largest in the Pacific Northwest. It started in 1900 in Puyallup, and welcomes more than a million guests to the single largest attended event in the state. Star-studded entertainment, the PRCA Rodeo, rides, exhibits, food, flowers and animals are mainstays of the 20-day event that kicks off the Friday of Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n
