Kent Police are asking witnesses to come forward as detectives try to figure out who brutally assaulted a 36-year-old Port Angeles man in a common outside area of the Hawthorn Suites hotel.<\/p>\n
Christopher Ochs died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle six days after the Dec. 15 attack from the head injuries he suffered, according to a police media release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The assault occurred in the morning at the hotel, 6329 S. 212th <\/a>St<\/a>. Police believe suspects fled from the hotel toward the neighboring Shell gas station in the 6300 block of South 212th Street before leaving the area.<\/p>\n Detectives said it does not appear to be a random incident and that the suspects may have known Ochs.
