A 26-year-old man died in a two-vehicle collision early Friday morning in Kent at the intersection of South 196th Street and 68th Avenue <\/a>South<\/a>.<\/p>\n James G. Black died from blunt force head injury, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. Black had a last known address in Idaho, according to Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner. Black died at the scene.<\/p>\n Paramedics transported the passenger in Black’s vehicle, a 25-year-old Bremerton woman, to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with unknown injuries, Kasner said.<\/p>\n Black reportedly ran a red light while westbound on South 196th Street and his vehicle collided with a semi going south on 68th Avenue South, aka the West Valley Highway, at about 12:45 a.m.<\/p>\n This marks the second death at the intersection in the last four years.
