The community raised more than $96,000 at KentHOPE’s fall benefit dinner at the Renton Pavilion Event Center on Nov. 4.<\/p>\n
The nonprofit organization continues to restore hope for women and children living homeless in South King County. KentHOPE is a partnership in Kent faith-based groups, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, Valley Cities Counseling and Consultation, businesses, local community service agencies and concerned individuals who are dedicated to reducing homelessness in the community.<\/p>\n
At the fundraiser, several people shared personal journeys out of addiction and homelessness.<\/p>\n
