{"id":31306,"date":"2017-11-06T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-06T19:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/mill-creek-captures-middle-school-football-title\/"},"modified":"2017-11-13T12:02:38","modified_gmt":"2017-11-13T20:02:38","slug":"mill-creek-captures-middle-school-football-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/mill-creek-captures-middle-school-football-title\/","title":{"rendered":"Mill Creek captures a share of middle school football title | PHOTOS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mill Creek Middle School routed Meridian 42-0 to capture a share of the Kent School District&rsquo;s eighth-grade football championship at French Field on Oct. 25.<\/p>\n<p>Mill Creek and Northwood, which did not meet during the regular season, finished unbeaten in six league games and wound up as co-champions.<\/p>\n<p>For Mill Creek, quarterback Marquis Pressley, fullback Derrique Mann, tailback Anthony Bui and receiver Melik Vann-Mcgee led the Bulldogs&rsquo; attack.
