Tayvonne Miller ran for 196 yards and two touchdowns and Justin Seiber passed for 283 yards and two more TDs as Kentwood defeated Jackson of Mill Creek 44-14 in a district playoff game at French Field last Friday night.<\/p>\n
The Conquerors (8-2) advance to play at top-ranked Woodinville (10-0) in the first round of the state 4A playoffs. Kickoff is 7 p.m. Saturday. It is Kentwood’s first trip to the state playoffs in seven years.<\/p>\n
Kentwood jumped out to a 27-0 lead. It amassed 519 yards of total offense.<\/p>\n
Jake Moore caught six passes for 107 yards and a TD for the Conks. Stephen Watson also had six receptions for 43 yards and a TD.<\/p>\n
Mason Glover ran for one touchdown.<\/p>\n
Luke Klein delivered three sacks.<\/p>\n
