Lois Renee Fawcett, best known as Renee, passed away peacefully at Valley Medical Center in Renton Washington on October 29, 2017 at the age of 83. Though her illness was unexpected, she was surrounded by family when she passed.<\/p>\n

Renee is survived in life by her children, Janet Fawcett, Tamara (Tammy) Gates, her husband James, Doug Fawcett, his wife Caroline and Gary Fawcett and his wife Gayle. She had 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Renee was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene (Gene) Gunn Fawcett, a daughter-in-law, Judy Fawcett and a grandson, Brian Douglas Fawcett.<\/p>\n

Renee was born in Brigham City, Utah to Hazen Edward and May Olivia Olsen Palmer. She graduated from Box Elder High School. After working for a few years as a secretary, she married her sweetheart, Gene Fawcett in the LDS Logan Temple, in Logan, Utah. Gene began his career as a school teacher. Then in 1957, Gene accepted a job offer from Boeing and they moved to Renton, Washington. Loving the area, they remained in Renton to raise their family. Renee dedicated her life to her family and to serving in various callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.<\/p>\n

Funeral services will be held on November 3, 2017 at 11:00am at 12817 SE 256th, Kent, Washington. The viewing is to be held at 10:00. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Renee’s life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
