Byron Gene Johnson was born September 22, 1927 in Renton, WA and passed away in Enumclaw at the age of 89 on July 19, 2017. Byron spent most of his younger years in the Lake Meridian area and graduated from old Meridian High School. Later moving to a farm in Enumclaw. Byron was a WWII Marine veteran. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked 30 plus years in various jobs at Burlington Northern Railroad and retired from Burlington Northern San Fransisco Seattle division as division superintendent.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his wife Beverly, sons Bill (Jenny) Tim (Christine) Ted (Derrick), daughter-in-law Shirley, brother Marvin (Phyllis), eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by father Oscar, mother Anne, brother Wayne, son Thomas, infant twin sons, daughter Cindy and grandson Jerry Jr.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
