Edward Warden Turner Jr., whom everyone knew as Ted, passed away due to pancreatic cancer on August 23, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Seattle December 6, 1937, to Edward Warden and Florence Turner.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his wife Ilona, children Edward Turner & Joan Jones, grandchildren Dustin & Alex, and great-grandchild Alice Mae and twin great-grandchildren on the way. Ted’s sisters Alice, Carol, Lori and step sister Vicki.<\/p>\n

Ted graduated from Kent Meridian High School and Washington State University in 1956. He served in the US Army during the Korean war. He worked for his father at Canyon Mill in Kent then as a real estate broker in the South Puget Sound. Later in life he moved to Las Vegas and met and married Ilona Turner.<\/p>\n

He enjoyed Seattle sports teams, gardening and playing cards with his friends at the senior center.<\/p>\n

Ted will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery at 11:30am on September 26, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
