The Kentridge Girls Swim and Dive Booster Club has joined Clothes for the Cause, a fundraising company that collects clothes in exchange for cash, to raise money for the club.<\/p>\n

The club’s clothing and textile drive is accepting new and gently used clothing and paired shoes on Saturday, Sept. 30.<\/p>\n

Donations can be dropped off between 9 a.m. and noon at the school, 12430 SE 208th St.<\/p>\n

In addition to garments, Clothes for the Cause will accept hats, towels, sheets, blankets, quilts, bedspreads, drapes, purses and belts. All items must be dry, clean and in a tied plastic bag.<\/p>\n

The drive will not accept glass, breakables, electronics, pet beds, bed pillows, carpeting, throw rugs, uniforms or hotel linens or items previously for sale at a thrift store.<\/p>\n

Clothes for the Cause will accept the donations and provide the booster club with the total of its fundraising effort, measured in dollars per pound.<\/p>\n
