Children are screened in the areas of speech and language, vision, hearing, learning and motor development.<\/p>\n<p>All screenings are at various Kent schools. At least one parent must accompany the child to the screening, which take approximately 1&#189; hours and are conducted by certificated staff.<\/p>\n<p>Screening dates are: Sept. 1, 13, 20; Oct. 4; Nov. 29; Dec. 6; Jan. 10, 24; March 14, 28; April 18, 25; and May 9.<\/p>\n<p>For more information and to schedule a screening, call Child Find at 253-373-7513.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kent School District offers free Child Find screenings for children 3-5 years old who may have a disability.
