Cheeks was not injured during the pursuit or shooting.<\/p>\n<p>In the other two videos, detectives talk to a ride-along passenger who was in the patrol vehicle with officer William Davis. Davis drove one of the patrol vehicles that pursued Joseph-McDade.<\/p>\n<p>Davis responded to the call to assist officer Matthew Rausch. Davis is the officer who fired the shots that killed the Auburn man and former Kent-Meridian High School student-athlete when Joseph-McDade reportedly drove his vehicle toward Davis.<\/p>\n<p>After pleas from relatives and friends of Joseph-McDade to release more information about the case, Kent Police Chief Ken Thomas decided to release documents and videos to the family and the media.
