King County residents still have time to register to vote for the General Election. If you are not currently registered to vote in Washington, visit the King County Elections office by 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a big election both in terms of its importance and the size of the ballot,\u201d said Sherril Huff, Elections Director. \u201cMake sure you\u2019ll be able to vote by visiting our office and registering by Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n

General Election ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 2 or returned to a ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on that day. There are 11 ballot drop box locations for this election where you can return your ballot without a stamp.<\/p>\n

Registered voters who have not received a ballot, or need a replacement, should call the voter hotline at 206-296-VOTE (8683).<\/p>\n

How to register to vote<\/p>\n

People who are not currently registered to vote in Washington should visit the Elections office at 9010 East Marginal Way S. in Tukwila by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 25 to register in person.
