The force has three K-9 units, including one dog that can sniff for narcotics after officers obtain search warrants. Kent plans to add a fourth dog later this year. It costs anywhere from $5,000 to $8,000 to add a dog to the force.<\/p>\n<p>Local breeders cater to K-9 units.
