Amateur Drew McCullough of Meadow Springs Country Club (Richland) won the 91st Muckleshoot Casino Washington Open Invitational by one stroke over PGA pro Shane Prante of Lake Spanaway GC (Tacoma) on Wednesday at Meridian Valley.<\/p>\n
McCullough’s final round of 65 consisted of six birdies, an eagle and a bogey. He birdied the final two holes for the title.<\/p>\n
McCullough will be a senior this fall at the University of Wyoming.<\/p>\n
The invitational’s official charity is Folds of Honor. The event raised $61,000 for the charity this year.<\/p>\n
Folds of Honor is a 501 (C)(3) charitable foundation supporting scholarships and assistance to the spouses and children of those killed or disabled in military service to America.
