Drivers in a couple of Kent neighborhoods will face intermittent and alternating lane closures and traffic diversions over the next several weeks for road improvement projects.<\/p>\n
In the Seven Oaks neighborhood, crews will work from mid-May through mid-June on the East Hill along 116th Avenue Southeast between Southeast 259th Place and Southeast 256th Street on sidewalk and roadway upgrades.<\/p>\n
Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with some weekend work possible. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic may be altered both during and after working hours. Traffic control will be in place.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, drivers in the Starlake Highlands neighborhood on the West Hill will face alternating lane closures from mid-May through mid-July along 35th Avenue South and 37th Avenue South between South 272nd Street and South 268th Street.<\/p>\n
Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with weekend work possible. There will be intermittent and alternating lane closures\/traffic diversions for storm system replacement, sidewalk and roadway upgrades.
