Kent residents can bring up any topic they want at a series of Kent City Council Town Hall meetings on April 21, 24 and 28.

“Town Hall meetings provide an opportunity for residents to come and speak to us in a very casual setting about their concerns, suggestions and hopes for our city,” said Council President Jamie Perry in a city media release.

Council members want residents to ask questions about city issues that are important to them.

The Council had a good response from residents during a series of Town Hall meetings last year.

“The open discussion and hearing from people directly is very valuable to us,” Perry said. “We see these meetings as an opportunity to expand our outreach while also increasing residents’ participation in city government.”

Attendees can submit questions at the beginning of each meeting, where a moderator will then facilitate discussion.
