There are problems once again Tuesday morning with several railroad crossings in downtown Kent.<\/p>\n
Gates are going down on streets with no reported trains, according to city officials. Roadways affected so far include James Street<\/a>, Smith Street, Meeker Street and Gowe Street. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes, including South 212th Street and South 277th Street.<\/p>\n Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway has a technician en route, according to a 10:40 a.m. report from the city. It is unknown when the problem will be corrected.<\/p>\n Any further issues can be reported directly to the railroad at 1-800-713-3599.<\/p>\n
