Kent Black Action Commission (KBAC) has announced a new partnership with Girls Who Code (GWC), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology.<\/p>\n
In keeping with its mission, GWC is conducting summer immersion programs throughout the country.<\/p>\n
The free program, which runs for seven weeks, is for current 10th- and 11th-grade girls. Classrooms are in leading technology companies like Facebook, Microsoft, and AT&T.<\/p>\n
The application process is competitive and will close on March 17. Applications are by online submission<\/a>.
