The Kent School District will provide transportation for students to Olympia for a day of exposure to the state’s legislative process and its many lawmakers. The visit to the Capitol is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Parent permission slips are required. Students who wish to ride down with the group will need to be at Kent-Meridian High School by 7:30 a.m. to depart by 8. This will be the only pickup/drop-off point for this year’s event.

A light breakfast and lunch will be prepared for all who attend and participate in the day’s activities. The group expects to return by 4 p.m., no later than 4:30, barring traffic.
