Linda A. Denny<\/p>\n

Linda passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charlie Denny, her brother Steve (Jeri) Hughes, sons, Todd, Christopher, David (Kim) and Shawn (Tracey) and five grandchildren, Jordan, Regan, Cameron, Quinn and Lauren.<\/p>\n

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Linda was a graduate of the University of Washington and spent over 30 years as a para-educator in the Kent School District sharing her love of art and reading.<\/p>\n

Linda was a gifted artist actively involved in the Renton Annual Art Show and Kent Arts Commission. She was an avid gardener, as evidenced by her beautiful personal garden, as well as sharing her talents with various garden groups; most recently as a volunteer in developing and improving the Soos Creek Botanical Garden.<\/p>\n

A celebration of her life will be held June 14th, 1:30 p.m. at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Covington, followed by a reception at the Soos Creek Botanical Garden in Auburn.
