Eugene Bertino<\/p>\n

Eugene Bertino was born February 11, 1932 in Cle Elum, WA to Giovanni Bertino and Pierina Richiardi Bertino who emigrated from Italy in 1931. He died peacefully but unexpectedly on November 18, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Coleen Bertino, Kent, children, David Bertino (Judy), Suzanne Fortune and Cheryl Nagel (Uwe), grandchildren Anthony, Miles, Jack, Mark, Desiree, Monique and Shane. He is also survived by stepchildren Steven Boessow (Sharon), Jeffrey Boessow and Elizabeth McCollum (Louis), step-grandchildren Matthew, Christopher, Siobhan, Danielle and Jared, his brother, John Bertino (Sherry) and family and many cousins in Italy. Eugene was a woodshop teacher for 30 years at Highline High School in Burien. He especially enjoyed \u00ff shing the waters of Puget Sound and photography all over the world. Eugene was loved by many and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave, Renton at 1:30 PM. Donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, NW Chapter in Seattle or to NW Harvest in Kent.<\/p>\n
