Ronald “Ron” David Tremaine, 72, was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 15, 1938 to Gertrude Eileen Kelly and John Corwin Tremaine, Ron passed away at his home in North Bend during the last week of January, 2011. He is survived by his siblings Ken and Barbara; his 4 children Xochitl, Monteil, Kathleen-Kelly, and Bryan; and 5 grandchildren Courtney, Skylar, Sadie, Corrine, and Bryce. Cooking, especially for large groups of people, was a passion of his. He looked forward to the holiday season each year, and was well known among friends and family for his handmade pumpkin pies. The results of his 26 year career as a real estate developer can still be seen locally at places like Lake Sammamish Heights and Sammamish View Terrace. He was also particularly proud of his work in the building of several recovery and rehabilitation centers throughout the Northwest. Over the last 7 years Ron was easily recognized during his outings at nearby Rattlesnake Lake, as he always was accompanied by his beloved companion, an unusually large wolf hybrid that was exceptionally popular with the kids.
