Janna Lee Johnson (Munday)<\/p>\n

Age 64<\/p>\n

Passed away in Big Sandy, MT on October 22, 2008, after fighting a long battle with thyroid cancer.She was born September 15, 1944, in Seattle, WA. Janna always knew that she wanted to be a wife, mother, and homemaker.She was great at all three! She was married to William Harold Potts on August 3, 1963. She began her family a year later, and she has four children who love their mom very deeply. They all feel blessed to have a mother who made them feel safe and loved, a mom who made their home a place where the neighborhood kids loved to be, a mom who taught her kids by example how to treat others, a mom who gave the world\u2019s best hugs and smiled with her eyes as much as her mouth, a mom who will never be forgotten. On October 15, 1987, Janna married Kent Johnson, and for seven years resided in Kent, WA, before retiring to the special town of Big Sandy, MT. In Big Sandy, Janna developed many wonderful relationships and quickly got involved in the community. Anyone who has ever met Janna knows that she had the most amazing heart and spirit and a smile that can never be forgotten. Janna loved praising God, painting, helping someone in need, the beauty of flowers, music, dancing and especially spending time with all of her family.Janna is survived by her loving husband Kent Johnson of Big Sandy, MT, her daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Todd Jurdana of Woodinville, WA; her son Daniel Potts of Eugene, OR; her son and daughter-in-law Eric and Anna Potts of Quilcene, WA; her son and daughter-in-law Shane and Tiffany Potts of Ellensburg, WA, her step-daughter Lynn Roam of Moses Lake, WA; her step-son Dan Johnson of Des Moines, WA; and her step daughter Shari Johnson of Moses Lake, WA. Janna is also survived by 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy; her dear parents Greg and Ginny Steckler of Tenino, WA; her sister Loretta LaRue of Kent, WA; her step-brother Dennis Steckler of Friday Harbor, WA; and her step-sister Jane Bergsma of Seattle, WA.A celebration of Janna\u2019s life and church service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, 25105 132nd Ave SE, Kent, WA 98042.Memorials may be made to Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp or any other charity of your choice.Kind and Peaceful Spirit, A Strong Chrisitian Faith, Loving Wife and Mother.<\/p>\n
