Alban \u201cJonesy\u201d Vaughn Jones<\/p>\n
1920-2011<\/p>\n
Alban born in Seattle 1920, passed away at the age of 90 on January 31st at his home in Kent. Alban attended Garfield High and graduated in 1939. Shortly after graduating he enlisted into the NAVY during World War II where he served for 2 years. He then worked at Arden Farms as a truck driver, where he met his \u201clovey dovey\u201d, Eunice. After retiring from Local 66 in 1983, Alban and his wife returned to her hometown of Chelan, WA. Living in the Mill Bay Community, he remained active by helping maintain the property. After the death of his wife he decided to move back to the west side. Alban enjoyed the last years of his life living comfortably at an assisted living community in Kent where he spent time with friends, attended family dinners and celebrated his 90th birthday. Alban was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Eunice; son, Dan; and his daughter, Judi. He is survived by his brother Hugh; grandson, Ryan; granddaughter, Marissa; nephew, Russ; and niece, Linda. At his request, no services will be held. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life will take place at a later date in Chelan.<\/p>\n
