Richard E. Pruett<\/p>\n
Dick was born on March 11, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2009.As a student\/athlete at UPS, Dick met Penny Ruff whom he married in August of 1961. Dick was a devoted husband and loving father who enjoyed family time and inspired his kids.Dick began as an assistant wrestling coach in 1962 and start-ed his twenty-six career at KM in 1966 in which three team and sixteen individual championships were won. Coach Pruett is inducted in the Washington State and National Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame.More recently Coach\u2019s commitment to developing young people was channeled toward his five grandchildren (Seth, Parker, Josephine, Cooper and Owen). Dick is survived by his daughter Amy and his son Joe.<\/p>\n
